i am on stuff fiber I got a deal on 1 year contract 89 nzd 4 months free gigabit internet. what free 4 months you can buy a google mesh router makes a huge difference with the internet coverage if you have a big house , For power I use Flick electric at my area i got 11 c kwh for night and 25 kwh for day and 11 kwh for entire day and night on weekends. other option is electric kiwi they give free hour of power and at my area they charge 24 kwh for rest of the day

    • Although I looked at electric kiwi the other day and they've changed pricing model (daily rate was almost 2x what it was last year and price per kw only decreased a little)

I thought about it so decided to check if my old address (just under 2 blocks away from my new one was the same as my previous address) had the same charge as last year and it roughly is so I'm guessing the reason for my change in price is that Im going through a different power utility box or something, sorry for the misinformation

    • Which flick plan are you on? Thanks

      • Fixie flick

  • Nova energy offers $150 credit for every service you switched to them, you should be able to get $300 credit if you switch your fibre and power. I think Stuff fibre's 4 months free offer is over.

    • the referral is now:

Since they are a friend of yours we will hook them up with 6 months half price so they will love Stuff Fibre as much as you do. So get sharing and reap the rewards.

      which is 3 months free

    • Stuff offer looks like it’s still on. Thanks for letting me know about nova

  • Slingshot also doing 6 months half price.. Offer from broadband compare -> https://www.slingshot.co.nz/address-checker?voucherCode=SSOP…

    • Thanks, but want to stay with fiber

    • Nova was able to beat electric kiwi, even when I included the hour of free power in the total power cost.
That was for gas and power.

Hour of free power for us, mainly showering and vacuuming worked out at 10% free power per day.

      • It really depends on the plan you choose, according to https://www.powerswitch.org.nz/ I'm saving over $150/ year choosing kiwi electric over Nova, but this was without gas.

  • check broadbandcompare and glimp for the best signup deals, often extra savings on top of what ISP's usually offer customers
