    Main benefits are multiple user accounts with usage tracking, additional movie content/trailers, content downloadable to devices (great for travel w/o internet ie. plane).

    Not really. They do have promos sometimes. I did get there lifetime membership few months ago. Have been using plex since 4-5 years now. don't remember how much it was, i think $75 USD. here is the similar deal posted before. https://www.cheapies.nz/node/20856

    This one is still expensive than before.

      I've been subscribing since 2016 and I've never had any luck using any of the discount codes and I've never been emailed any offers. I may try just not subscribing when my next subscription is up and see if they offer me anything.

            @cutcutcut: The email was in my spam folder. the title is "25% OFF SALE to celebrate our ten years" and it says Plex news. If that helps.

  I bought this this morning. I had an existing account but was not an active subscriber and it applied the discount. So not necessarily new accounts only. While it’s not the cheapest deal ever ($140) it’s ok. Removes the need to pay the unlock in app purchase on iOS app when using same account so that’s good too.
