  • Just wondering if people have had any success checking out online? I get a “code expired” type error when I try to use it.

    • +1

      Starts tomorrow 08/05

Oh my apologies! Jumped the gun :) thanks for the deal OP!

  • where is the actual code?

    • At the top of this page next to the coupon icon or at the bottom of the PDF.

  • I'd rather go with the Macpac Halo jackets with 650 dfillpower. It's a mix of goose and duck feather fill.
The resolve has only 550 fill power with 10% acrylic fill.

  • FYI I just purchased a 20" Boys 2019 precaliber 6 speed mountain bike. Final buy price was $208 which is pretty good considering this only gets discounted to about $280 at best.

Air 500 tent is down from $999 to about $300.

Some impressive deals - thanks OP

Nice find; I just grabbed a couple of my son's 18" tyres for his bike…down from $15 to $2.50 each…woo hoo…nice! Now he can do all the skids he likes haha

    • Upvoted comment for bargain and for skids

  • Why does it say this code is expired?

  • Sorry that coupon has expired

    • Do you know why?

      • Probably pulled the plug. Most discounts were pretty good (some are too good to be true) so just now waiting if they'll honour the orders.

        • Also the discount meant for some items purchasing more than 2 didn't increase the total price, was tempted to put in some big orders but doubt they would be honoured.

          • @taeken: And this too.

They said they're fixing it so code might work again later today. Will remove the expiry if they do.

            • @stinky111: The code has now been reinstated but the discount amounts are nowhere near as good.

              • @[Deactivated]: They must have really stuffed up, the discounts are crap now.

                • @taeken: I know right? I had a spin bike in my cart from $799 down to $260. Now it has another $150-odd tacked onto the price. Wonder how many orders they've decided to cancel and how many lucky buggers got them to honour the initial discount in-store. I've only come across one product that still has a good deal which is this tent at 55% off: https://www.torpedo7.co.nz/products/T7RTFN8G3/title/grande-3….

                  • @[Deactivated]: I made an order and got an email to say it was a mistake, I feel like anyone who used that code had their order cancelled..
Their terms and conditions kinda contradict each other - up the top it states "If there is an error in pricing online, in a product description, name or product image, Torpedo7 online reserves the right to contact the customer and make the appropriate changes to the order. If an alternative option is not agreed upon with the customer, the order will be cancelled and the amount paid refunded." and then further down states *"….On completion of this process you will be notified that your order has been processed, payment is then taken. This results in a separate binding agreement between you and us for the supply of those products." * they took payment so is the agreement binding?

                    • +1

@Skengman: My understanding of the Fair Trading Act is that as long as they didn't set out to mislead in the pricing, they can reverse a transaction for an 'honest mistake'. However, if you were provided a tax invoice/receipt along with payment taken from your credit card, this would constitute a legal contract for sale of the goods and you could take them to the small claims tribunal to try have them honour the sale.

I would think that given the flyer stated products would be discounted by up to 60%, it is fair and reasonable to assume any products (bar those specified in the fine-print as ineligible) could potentially yield a 60% discount. If your purchases fell within 60% off - which I imagine they did - I reckon you would definitely have a leg to stand on with small claims.

@[Deactivated]: I think you are correct.

Note, the sequence of events in their process.
Their T&C Suggests once they have taken payment, they have cleared the order of any Website Error, and that the sales agreement is binding. This is regardless of the notification that the order has been processed.

See below part of their T&C

When we receive your order it will be screened and cleared of any security issue, website error or stock complication; your order will be processed and finalised. On completion of this process you will be notified that your order has been processed, payment is then taken. This results in a separate binding agreement between you and us for the supply of those products.

  • I’ve had two orders cancelled so far, they weren’t horrendous discounts either, one was a T7 branded kids ski jacket at a price I would have expected to pay.

  • Worked for me today! $143 off an Osprey Aether tramping pack that I had on my shopping list. $287, down from $430.

  • +1

I'm guessing someone challenged them on their T&C's, as both my orders on hold have now been shipped. A friends order that had been cancelled after being advised they wanted extra $$ was also fulfilled.

    • I'm in the same boat, I was initially told that I needed to pay an extra $200, which I hadn't replied to. Then a couple of hours later I got another email to say that it would be shipped at the original price paid and this morning I got shipping confirmation. A friend of mine asked for a refund but he's yet to receive the money back.

    • Finger's crossed they'll ship mine too. Still on-hold. I guess I'll mention this if they cancel it. Haha

      • Hopefully no-one abused it too much. When we were looking there was a bike $200 cheaper than it had ever been (with the code), but of course you could add multiple bikes for the same price.

        • Majority of the orders probably have been cancelled and majority probably didn't complain especially those who knew that they took advantage of a possible pricing/technical issue.

I feel sorry for the one who stuffed it up tho.

  • Just bought the Sector snow helmet though, that discount still works fine :)
