Man O War Sauvignon Blanc 2017 Normally $25 Now $9.99 @ New World.
Just spotted at Eastridge New World. A yummy wine at a cheapies price.
As a none wine person, how the heck do I pick a bottle?
Randomly grab one until something decent came up?
If you have the spare time, you could read up on it. There are usually descriptions on the flavour profile if you look it up on the internet.
Pick the one that sounds like something you'd enjoy…
Buy it to try. If you don't like it, move on to the next.
If you go to a winery or something to buy your wines, they usually have taste tests there which helps. Otherwise it is tougher to just pick one up in store and hope for the best.
Kinda depends if you're into wine as a whole, or are looking for a gateway into wine, in which case you'd go for something sweeter or with bubbles etc.
White is probably a good place to start, perhaps something still like Pinot Gris or Riesling etc.
Find a sparkling Moscato if you want something super easy to drink, that kinda tastes like lolly water.
When it comes to wine, it was easy choosing; I used to get the absolute cheapest per/L which was often the 3L Country Red Wine goon sack. You actually get good utility from this package by inflating the plastic bladder after drinking the contents and using it as a pillow!
That is ridiculously cheap. Pity it's miles away from the hood.
You should call your local new world and ask to match. I'm enjoying a glass now. It's worth it.
