CC Subscriptions - Difference between 'New Comments' and 'New Replies'

Hi All,

If I click to subscribe to a deal discussion, I see two options:

New Comments

OR

New Replies

I usually choose 'New Comments', but I actually want to see all new posts - both new comments, and new replies.

How do I achieve that?

    New Comments = Every comment posted in the thread.
    New Replies = Every reply to the comment you've made.

    I'll give an example below:

    Pretend this is User X's Original Comment.

      Pretend this is User Y's Comment.

      (This is a reply to a comment) User X will be notified:

      • if User X has subscribed to new comments
      • if User X has subscribed to new replies

    Pretend this is User Y's comment

    (This is a comment, not a reply to any comment) User X will be notified:

    • if User X has subscribed to new comments.

    This comment isn't a reply to any comments so User X wouldn't get a notification if they have selected to be notified to new replies.
