On the competitions page, the links that were there until yesterday (I think) so that we can ' Mark as Entered' or 'Mark as Seen' are not currently showing for me.
Not sure if this is a deliberate change or something has gone wrong, but I definitely found them to be useful.

What you are describing as being new, was the functionality that I saw up until yesterday (ish) - there were links beside each competition on the 'competitions page' saying 'Mark as Entered' and 'Mark as Seen'.
Those links now seem to have gone from the summary page, and I would have to go into each individual competition to be mark them at this point, which is now much more work.
If you go to the Oz site, it is still the way I was seeing CC previously:
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/competition/notentered
CC is now different:
https://www.cheapies.nz/competition/notentered

You just need to click the eye button to Mark as Seen or the pencil for Mark as Entered without having to click within the competition.

Your call, but many people won't recognise the icons I would guess - the worded links that were there before were much less ambiguous, which means that many people will likely now click into the competitions to clear them from their list.
Either way, thank you for your assistance - much appreciated.

Just as an aside - I used the icons just now, but when you click on 'Seen' it does not remove the competition from the list like it did before - now you have to manually refresh the page (F5 for example) to get it to disappear, so the functionality is much reduced.

Hi Alan, I see what you mean with regards to the behaviour of the 'mark as seen' old link vs new icon. Will be fixed in the next rollout. Thanks.
Cool - Maybe also consider replacing the icons with words, so as to make the page more accessible :-)
Unless space is at an absolute premium, icons are never a good design decision in my experience.

It's showing here. We've now added the ability to mark as entered/viewed on the competitions page instead of having to go into each competition individually.
