  Why would I pay that much for a PU leather (aka fake) case? Similar quality ones can be had on aliexpress for half the price.

    Because its for a note 9! a case for a future phone that has not even been released yet. I guess the 99% mark up price is for their ability to get the right size and fit for this new phone. lol
