Fee Free Overseas ATM Withdrawals from ANZ

For ANZ NZ card holders only.

ANZ previously did not charge an overseas ATM fee for using an ANZ ATM worldwide. For non-ANZ ATMs, they charged $5 outside of NZ. As of 26 March 2018, they will be removing this fee, allowing for free ATM withdrawals from all ATMs* worldwide. This is currently the only bank in NZ which offers overseas ATM fee free withdrawals.

*Banks and other financial institutions who own overseas ATMs may charge a fee for using them, or for staff assisted transactions. Currency conversion charges apply to foreign transactions.

    Correct, which according to Bren (https://www.brenontheroad.com/how-to-avoid-bank-fees-and-acc…) this deal is only worth it for withdrawals less than $500NZD. Anything above it ASB cashflow would be better. Still crap compared to other countries though.

  I bet they do, banks are happy to charge loads, compare to the UK with monzo, revolut, starling etc which all offer fee free ATM withdrawals worldwide
