  Ive also been looking for a pair of gear VR for my phone for a while. I have read quite a lot of reviews and people say that the new VR headsets are the same one as the 2016 model just with a controller. Honestly they also look the same too.
  At the moment you can grab a VR + the controller off amazon separately for around $90nzd delivered to NZ. Really depends if you want to save that extra $60

    yeah the only thing i am worried about is that a number of people have said that the s8+ is a bit too tight in the 323 model and they were worried it would scratch the screen after a while - which is why they made the change to the 324…

    i also was looking at the google daydream which is now also compatible but i think theres a fair bit more content on the samsung side…

  These were selling at PB Tech for $99 during Black Friday Sale, saw quite a lot of them. The Google Daydream VR set was selling at $99 too.

    Not sure as i don't have one yet lol.
    Was planning to try some movies on it to get that immersive feel? And if i don't feel it, might end up in some box somewhere to live out the rest of its life.
