  And JB still have these for $364 from the earlier post. Still $2 is $2 the cheapies way.

  I've tried the 1000x and QC35, eager to try these with the positive posts I've been reading, might pop into JB over the weekend.

  If you prefer to pay by credit card for rewards, I'd still buy from JB HiFi because PB Tech have a 2.5% credit card surcharge.

  I'm a survey junkie and have amassed a good $250 JB HIFI vouchers, so for sure will buy from there. But they're out of stock in Riccarton. Hope they keep the $364 price tag when they're back.

    you can always go in and pay for it/order it and collect it when the headphones arrive… This would mean that you would lock in the discount price and dont have to worry about the price going back up again.

      Spot on will take this advice. I hope they have a demo to try out too, I've not even seen one in person so got to check it thoroughly(have had a lot of play with the sony 1000 and bose qc35)

        Did you find these locally? I've got $200 of Westfield vouchers and was considering a headset for work but think this would be a far more versatile offering and worth the extra. A demo would be good before spending this nich. I did try the Sony's opposite JB hi-fi yesterday and I was very impressed.

        To answer my own question. Noel leeming in Westfield had a demo unit and JB hi-fi had the 480 units on display, pretty much a wired version.

        Nice woman in store just offered to get me some sent up from Dunedin so I'm relieved of my voucher and money. Should be good, it's my first decent set of headphones after years of in ears.
