Got an electrical fault with the car at the moment that i'm busy diagnosing.
In the interim, I started looking at portable lithium batteries that have the ability to jump start cars if required.
Looking at some on Gearbest/BangGoods sites, but i remember readying something that those sites can't ship Lithium batteries to NZ?

I'm a bit late to the party here but, just a word of caution on these things. I like a bargain as much as anybody else but this particular item I would only purchase here in NZ and from a reputable retailer. I don't have any personal experience and I'm not an electrical engineer, but at least two of these types of jump starters been recalled in NZ just relatively recently:

I gather once you jump-start your vehicle and the alternator starts providing maybe 14v, some of these things aren't designed properly to fully prevent back-charging the lithium cells in a manner that they shouldn't be. Why would they state that they have to be disconnected from the car battery within 30 seconds after starting? Everything else in your car is connected to the battery and doesn't blow up or catch fire after a few minutes :)
Who knows what sort of safety you're going to get with an unknown chinese import. At least if problems arise with a particular unit sold in NZ then you're more likely to hear about a recall and be able to return it.
