    I wouldn't have high hope for Mitre10 to give out price match less 15%. I have had bad experience with them, waiting for them to make call to check and told me that they cannot do price match.

      Yea, I think all price beat policies in NZ are really dependent on the staff member you get on the day, which is a bit disappointing. I have had a number of successful transaction using the 15% beat at both retailers in the past, can't recall any being rejected.

      @Shaw: The willingness to price beat also depends on how close the competing retailer is located. For example the Bunnings store is right next to Mitre 10 at Manukau.

They seem to be slightly different tool boxes. A lot of the tools have slightly different models between stores to prevent price matching.

  Can confirm the model numbers are different. Unlikely to be beaten in that case. Could be possible to get a price match if one is better than the other though.
  
  I think Bunnings also may have changed the images.
