I would have been a similar age. I would work my way around the schools internet security to be able to play on my lunch breaks. Such a rebel!
I started playing when it had 3 servers and a servercap of <150 players per. Crazy to see that game go from a few thousand total players to 200k+ concurrent in a few years. Sadly I cashed in all my rare items(party hats, santa hats etc) many years(10+) ago for a few grand..
Looking now a santa hat is 350 million gp
partyhats have no 'market' price but some forum says more than a billion gp?yeah well over a couple billion I believe. Its getting out of hand! I'm holding 13santas, but I always hoard gold in games.
