  • How many stickers included and how much for refill?

    • The Amazon listing says it comes with a sample roll of white tape, but it doesn't say how short it is. Probably 1m-5m.
For refills it takes TZe tape, which you can buy in 12 metre rolls for $4-$5 from Ebay or AliExpress. In NZ it's way more expensive (Ascent has it for $20-$36).

      • The sample roll is 47", about 120cm, if I read it correctly.

  • Usually it's one cash back per household or person or address, but i don't see anything in the terms about not collecting 3x cashbacks for the triple purchaee.

No restrictions that I'm aware of.

https://www.cheapies.nz/node/5300 lots of feedback here. They had no issue with my 10 claims (1 claim, 10 items).

      • Hi Shaw,

I read your comments from that thread. How did the claim go? Did you file just 1 claim for the whole 10 pcs. bulk order? Thanks!

        • +2

Yea mate, had no issues at all. A single claim, you just add multiple items with serial numbers to the claim page before submitting it.

        • @Shaw:

          Awesome! Cheers mate!

  • You can also get a quantity discount at ascent if you buy 2 or more you get $5.50 off each extra one, so for example I added 3 to cart and it would work out to $7.92 delivered each for the PTH110 model after cashback.

  • I think I got like.. 5 of these last time :D

  • I wonder if they work better than the PT-H105. I've read a review that says it's hard to take the sticker out.

  • The OfficeMax website is running low on stock. I got the following error:

    Item(s) Not Added to Cart
Quantity available for ordering is 2.
    No Backorders Allowed.

  • OfficeMax is out of stock.

  • Will this tape work with it?

  • Has anyone's order from OfficeMax shipped yet? I ordered on Monday and it still hasn't shipped.

    • I'm still trying to ascertain whether OfficeMax have any in-store stock so I can price beat it at Warehouse Stationery or at least price match at Noel Leeming.

  • Have I got a story, or not, to tell all you guys when I get home this afternoon… you would be correct in thinking I'm pretty pleased at the moment :)

    • You opened the box and there were 2 in there?!

Not quite Shaw, but I did purchase 2 Brother P-Touch PT-H105 Label Printers from Warehouse Stationery Silverdale this afternoon. For the sake of clarity, this is NOT the same product as featured in this deal, but is sold at Ascent.

I went and took 2 of the product off the shelf and was informed by the salesperson that the checkout staff would be pleased to arrange the 5% price beat on OfficeMax's price. They also sell it in pink.

I approached the lovely checkout operator with the products and she looked at OfficeMax's webpage on my mobile phone. We worked out it would cost $24.95 if I were to purchase the product from OfficeMax. At this stage, OfficeMax didn't have any product in-stock on its website so I thought we might have to contact OfficeMax Customer Service to check on in-store stock as the Warehouse Stationery Low Price Guarantee terms and conditions state:

To qualify for our "Beat it by 5%" guarantee, a lower price product found at a competitor store must be:

    • the identical model
    • a standard stocked item
    • in stock at our store and the competitor's store at the time of price comparison.

Warehouse Stationery sell the product for $59.90 in blue and pink colours. The checkout operator informed me this would be a large price beat and would require the store manager to approve it. I agreed, if Warehouse Stationery were to price beat OfficeMax's price they would be dropping $34.99 from their price, which equates to a 58% discount, as well as a further 5% ($1.25) for the price beat.

The store manager came to the checkout and said that OfficeMax was offering a crazy price (I agree and that's probably why the product was listed in the Clearance section of their website). He had no hesitation in giving the price beat and discounting their price and also took no notice of the product being a different colour to the one at OfficeMax.

I received an email reply from a representative of Warehouse Stationery's customer service team this afternoon and they denied to honour the Low Price Guarantee as the product wasn't "identical" in colour. It is the exact same model as what OfficeMax sells, except that they only have blue and pink colours.

I am a very happy customer and expressed this to the checkout operator when I purchased the products. The staff were very friendly to deal with and I have no hesitation in recommending them for future business and sales.

After cashback, I purchased the products for $3.70 each. They were the last two blue ones on the shelf. I am telling myself this is the "deal of the year".

      That's sweet!

So, to clarify, you emailed them as well as going in store to ask?

      • I emailed Warehouse Stationery's online customer service team last night. I hadn't received a reply by the time I went out and about this morning and I was going to be in the store anyway, so I thought I would ask if they would price beat the OfficeMax price.

They were only too happy to give me the deal.

I also tried to get a price match from Noel Leeming on their live web chat last night. They effectively said no to a price match because OfficeMax customer service/stores were closed at the time. I preferred to go to Warehouse Stationery as I wanted to get the extra 5% price beat ($1.25 each off). Had they replied to me last night, I would have tried to stack the price beat with their 10% off online offer. Had that worked I would have probably paid $2.37 each after cashback, but it is possible that might not have worked if they applied the discount for the price beat through a coupon code.

  • $25 + free delivery by Harvey. I would be $5 after cashback.

    • Wouldn't it be free if you used the welcome5 voucher?

      • Good point but only for 1st timer… I have used that voucher already unfortunately :S

    • What's the difference between the PTH105 and PTH110?

    • Also, I wonder if I could claim from Ascent and Harvey Norman on the Brother Cashback page in one claim…

      ChoiceCheapies members!

You should be able to price beat this at Warehouse Stationery and purchase the product for the about the same price I did, depending on in-store stock, though that didn't seem to phase Silverdale staff yesterday when price beating the OfficeMax price.

It's best to try and do it in-store as the online team were very subjective requiring that both stores sell the product of the same model and colour. It might be a bit more difficult this time as the Harvey Norman webpage clearly states this is a clearance product with limited stock, but as the phrase says "if you don't ask, you don't get".

      • Already bought my three from Ascent. They're 50c cheaper today too dammit! :P

  • Got it for 5% pricebeat from warehouse stationary for $20.60

  • Hi guys, I'm planning on getting a couple of PTH110 from acsent for family and probably a couple of PTH105 from harvey norman for friend giveaways. I read from the terms that you can claim on casback per "Eligible Product purchased" so I'm thinking there should be no problem with this.

Have any of you guys tried this and had a successful claim for the cashback? Thanks!

    • I've claimed on 10 at once, not sure beyond that, but there is no mention of a limit.

      • Hi Shaw,

Thanks for the response. I've decided to buy just the PTH110 from acsent since they would be only around $6.40 after the discount.

I was wondering though, I looked at the cashback claim form and didn't seem to find ascent there under the dealer dropdown though they do have the "Specify Your Dealer" option which allows you to enter your dealer manually. Is it possible that I may have problem with this?

Also, after I ordered online, they sent me an order confirmation with my order number but nothing about a receipt number. My guess is that they would probably send me my receipt number on Monday after processing it since they are closed during weekends. If that is the case, then would that mean that my receipt will have a date of May 1, 2017 on which I will not be eligible anymore with the promo period of the cashback. Do you think this will be a problem? Thanks again!

        • +1

Sweet, it should be fine to use Ascent in the "Specify Your Dealer" box, I did for the previous deal.

From memory I just used the order number, more or less the same thing anyway. I think it's just how some paper receipts will give you an invoice number, most online orders will just give you an order number.

        • @Shaw:
          Awesome! Thanks again heaps, Shaw!

        • @ross:

No worries mate, hopefully it's all good.
