Not bad, seems to review really well too. Good for kids/older family member/uni student wanting something light weight.

        "Intel Atom"….. NEXT!

  • I have a tablet with this CPU, 2GB RAM, 32GB eMMC — the same specs. It dual-boots Win10 and Android, and Windows is PAINFULLY slow. (Android runs great, however.)

Alternatives (with the faster Intel N3050 CPU):
A Chromebook is far more pleasant to use; if you're cool with paying around $330 there are HP/Asus/Lenovo options on PriceSpy.
For Windows, Noel Leemings currently has the HP Stream for $299 that you could live with if you mainly do web browsing and similar light tasks.

    • I agree from my experience this CPU combination and 2gb of Ram isn't enough for Windows 10 to run smoothly, even if only web browsing. If you intend to use a more efficient OS on it, it is fine however

  • It depends on what you are running. The Atoms of today are much more capable than the Atoms of the past. Web browsing, word processing, movies etc. should all be fine.

  • The argument is that you'll only use these for web browsing etc.
Thing is, a chromebook provides a much better user experience for doing just that.

Windows has such an overhead for just the OS that these specs are absolute beer minimum, and that's before the inevitable slow down as it gets clogged up over time.

    • I don't understand what you guys are doing. I have a W10 tablet with the same specs that I use for travelling. Chrome, movies, Word all load (reasonably) quickly and work well. I even do a bit of gaming (mainly older DX9 games).
