FYI: @ Mighty Ape you enter the code in Step 4 of the ordering process (this is after you have entered all your personal details and credit card information). Most stores let you see if a code will apply to a product when it's in your shopping basket, but not these guys.

I tested the code by going pick up, where it lets you enter the code first.

Is the birthday code targeted(ie they email you) or just based on your account birthday(ie a new account every order works)
I got it in an email, but have found it mentioned on other website more then once. I'd say that it's likely you'll get it but you may need to have an account for more then a month before hand and maybe one purchase.
