Free Coca-Cola at Participating Venues in Auckland and Wellington

80

This could be a really good one for frugal people who want to go out with friends, or to after work drinks.

tl;dr 3 free coke beverages per day for people who appear sober at a bar

Coke is running a promotion for 'designated drivers' to get free Coca-Cola beverages at bars. Despite the marketing, nothing in the T&Cs requires 'designated drivers' to actually be driving that night.

There is something in the T&Cs about looking intoxicated, so my suggestion is to get a Coke when you first hit one of these bars, then either keep drinking coke or switch to something else if you wish (and if you're not driving!)

HOW TO REDEEM YOUR 3 FREE COCA‑COLA SOFT DRINK VOUCHERS
Drinks are only able to be redeemed at participating outlets. A list of participating outlets can be found at www.coke.co.nz/driver

In order for you to redeem a voucher within the mobile site you will need to:

Tap on one of the 3 non-redeemed vouchers to activate it.
Once activated, show your phone to the bartender before clicking the ‘REDEEM YOUR VOUCHER NOW’ button.
You need to ensure that you only press the ‘REDEEM YOUR VOUCHER NOW’ button when the bartender is looking at your phone.
Once the ‘REDEEM YOUR VOUCHER NOW’ button has been pushed an on-screen countdown will be initiated. Once counted down the voucher image will be updated to be shown as ‘ VOUCHER REDEEMED’.
Repeat the above process for each voucher redemption, up to the available maximum of three (3) vouchers.
Each voucher may only be redeemed for a selected Coca‑Cola soft drink product, subject to availability at the participating outlet. Redemption cannot be redeemed against any alcoholic beverage.

If your vouchers are not redeemed within 24 hours they will expire. Vouchers must be redeemed on the same day as registration within the 24 hours period from txting in.

lotta bars will give the sober driver free softdrinks anyway

  • ironic how you suggest getting a coke then "switching" to a drink… when their whole campaign was to keep people safe and sober!

but yea most good bars give the sober driver free coke/sprite anyway just show them your keys
