USB hub - recommendations

We seem to be amassing a silly number of devices in our house - tablets, phones, laptops, things to measure your every breath. Charging them with only two usb wall plugs is now an issue. Can anyone recommend one of those usb multi hubs that is actually capable of charging several devices at a time?

    • I've read that those ones sometimes make a humming noise while they are charging, have you had this?

      • I can confirm mine indeed does make a high pitch hum sometimes when charging. You can't hear it too much unless you're closer but it definitely does it. It does seem to charge well though, using blitzwolf cables it will charge my wifes fussy samsung tablet as fast as the samsung charger and cable.

      • Interesting, Haven't noticed that on mine. Pretty much is next to me head when i sleep. In saying that its only charging my phone at the moment and my hearing is pretty shocking.

      • I've got one, never noticed a sound from it. Best charger I've every used, charges my phone and the kids tablets very fast.

        • Revisiting this topic as I'm finally buying one…I take it they come with an overseas plug and I buy a converter?

        • @inkypinky: came with a nz plug when I got mine :)

  • I buy the orico chargers from aliexpress cos they are sold at pbtech for double the price. Excellent quality and a huge range of usb chargers
