YouTube Premium: Monthly TRY₺29.99 (~NZ$2.60), Annual TRY₺299.99 (~NZ$26) @ YouTube Turkey (VPN Required to Sign Up)

270

Recently I was unable to renew my YouTube Premium subscription in Argentina because of the VISA card issue, but I just found out that you can now get it cheaper in Turkey. Moreover, you can subscribe to the annual plan with basically 2 months free and pay with a NZ credit card.

The only thing that is required to set this up is a VPN (either paid or free) that can connect to a Turkey IP address.

Do you need an Indian credit card? I remember that it failed at payment step because I was using NZ credit card

        Using my westpac credit card.

Yup. It's 189 INR for the family plan via India (~$3.70). Works fine on my ASB Visa Debit.

      • Can you purchase an entire year on the family plan in India?

        • No. It's monthly only. You can purchase individual plan for a year.

  • Same, I couldn’t use my CC with Argentina suddenly. Really odd as I was trying for about 30 minutes to sign up in Turkey. Nik minute I ended up to YT India gave me rupee price. For the monthly one it didn’t work but the annual one my ASB Visa worked.

  • Got my ANZ Visa to work on my Argentina family plan, $5.77 charged.

    • How did you get your ANZ Visa work on the Argentina family plan? Mine stopped working since January and I had to switch to Westpac Mastercard.

      • Mine couldn't renew.
Then I cancelled my family plan, and was hoping to join again using Turkey.
Then had issues with getting Turkey to work.
So just out of curiosity, just try my luck again with the same card on Argentina VPN, and it was renewed, and confirmed my CC was charged.

  • I couldn't get my Indian account to renew with existing Kiwibank Visa.

Finally got Wise card, went straight through, cost $25.80 for single annual subscription.

Nord doesn't do India anymore, did free trial on IP Vanish.
