  Bought one of these last year at a similar price, first one broke the plastic front first time i switched it on. They replaced it, 2nd one works well but seems a bit gutless power-wise and you can hear it slow down as you shave. Get what you pay for i guess. Last one was a Remington which lasted 6 years or so

    Thats a shame yours did that. I got one of these before lockdown last year and it is still in mint condition. I have 3 boys and been doing all their cuts through lockdowns. No problems re power or slowing down in mine. I make sure I oil in between uses and it cuts easily. Even though this is an entry level clipper compared to their others, Wahl are a solid clipper and at $29 (the cost of one of my boys haircuts) this has more than paid for itself many many times over and I have saved plenty!
    I used a couple of youtube clips to inform how to zero gap the clipper and even can do tidy zero fades with this.
